Liz Monether – Chair of Trustees
Liz has a background in the banking and financial services industry and is an Independent Financial Advisor. Once she became aware of Targeted Training she became a committed enthusiast and offered her financial experience to the Trustees and The Movement Centre.
Perryn Edwards
Perryn is an Independent Financial Advisor who is based in Chester.
Although he has no medical background his considerable experience in the financial industry is invaluable to The Movement Foundation. He has a particular interest and experience in the use of data management software and is now primarily involved with our fundraising programme.
Stuart Gillies
Stuart began his career as a Executive Engineer in Post Office Telecommunications and then joined Shell. He retired from a senior position in Shell International after 27 years managing Information Technology and other services, latterly in the Exploration and Production division. He brings technical and managerial experience to the Board.
Julia James
Julia is a physiotherapist working in private practice in Wrexham. She first became aware of the Movement Centre when she assisted Penny Butler on a research project. She has been very impressed with the results achieved by Targeted Training, and the opportunity it gives for families to be involved in their children’s rehabilitation.
Jane Martin
Jane became aware of The Movement Centre when her daughter, Molly attended for Targeted Training Therapy. Jane has helped with fund raising for many years and has set up Friends of The Movement Centre (West Midlands). Her commitment and enthusiasm for the Centre makes her the ideal parent representative on the Trust Board.
Richard Major

Richard trained as an engineer in the motor industry and after a short spell in teaching spent 25 years in rehabilitation engineering. He is a co-originator of Targeted Training (with Penny Butler, Director of The Movement Centre). Richard was formerly Head of Bioengineering for the Regional Medical Physics Department in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Alexa Woodcock

Alexa is a parent representative on the Board of Trustees. She has a wide ranging knowledge of various therapy approaches through the experiences of her son. She is committed to Targeted Training and making this available to all children who might benefit.
