Last week, The Movement Centre hosted its first open day for individuals, businesses and community groups to visit and find out more about the work it delivers.
Lanyon Bowdler sponsored the open day, and the charity was delighted to have the legal firm’s support. People attending had the opportunity to hear from one of The Movement Centre’s physiotherapists, its CEO, and from a family who had been through the Targeted Training process.
The team was delighted to have Leo and his family attend, as it was vital for people attending to hear, first-hand, how The Movement Centre supports children and their families.
Here’s what our Fundraising and Marketing Officer, Curtis, had to say about the day…
“Feedback has been great from the event, and The Movement Centre is hoping to hold the open day annually, as well as hosting other events such as seminars, webinars, and CPD training to help raise its profile and spread the word about Targeted Training.
A huge thank you to Gillhams in Oswestry for providing lovely nibbles for everyone, and also J&PR for covering the day through our social media. We would invite anyone who would like to know more, to get in touch by emailing me at [email protected].”
