Trusts and Foundations

The support of charitable trusts and foundations is vital to our work. Whatever the size of your organisation, you can make a positive impact on the lives of children across the UK who have a disability that affects their movement control.

We understand the importance of providing trusts and foundations with individual tailored proposals. In our communications we aim to clearly outline how our work meets your aims and objectives.

Transparency is very important to us. We can offer you a detailed breakdown of exactly how your money will be spent. Furthermore, we can provide comprehensive reports documenting the progress and keeping you updated on future plans.

Visitors are more than welcome to our offices in Oswestry, Shropshire. Indeed, by coming to see us you can see first-hand how we have a lifelong positive impact on the children we work with.

If you represent a trust or grant-making body we would be delighted to talk to you about our work.

Ann, Jack and Lynne

Our National Lottery Funding

The Movement Centre celebrated late last year after being awarded £55,000 in National Lottery funding to support our work in transforming the lives of children living with movement disability.

The centre, based in Oswestry, will use the cash to help fund our unique programme aimed at giving children the chance to gain more control of their movement and reach their full potential through Targeted Training therapy – the only therapy of its kind in the world.

The treatment has been helping to transform the range of movement of children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities affecting their mobility for the last 25 years. It helps children gain head control so that they can interact with those around them, sit unaided and can lead to gaining the ability to walk.

Feedback like this is why we do what we do! 🧡 We're there every step of the way, through the tears and the cheers - and not just from the children! From introductions to heading out the door for the last time, we learn as much from the children as they do from us! 🫂 ... See MoreSee Less

⠀
In the session he did some super cruising and enjoyed playing with the light up balls we have here at the centre. Going forward, he will continue working on his standing and walking.⠀
⠀
Well done Fred! We look forward to welcoming you back to the centre next year for your follow up review.⠀

First you'll see her most recent review in June, then when she visited us in April, and then her first ever visit to us which was in February!

It's clear Grace's head control and general posture have improved. We're so, so proud of her and the progress she's making.
