The Movement Centre is located on the grounds of The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, which is based on a site outside Oswestry, just off the A5.
The Movement Centre is Building 106. To find us please enter the hospital site at Entrance 2. You should then follow the road as detailed on the Site Plan below and turn right at the pedestrian crossing alongside the sheltered walkway, following the signs for Buildings 103-106. There are disabled parking spaces outside The Movement Centre (Building 106). These are available to visitors to The Movement Centre. If you do not have a blue badge we can provide a parking permit.

By Car
From the North (Chester A483, approx 25 miles)
- Follow signs for Wrexham A483
- At the end of the dual carriageway the road divides, you will need to take the right hand lane (A5) for Oswestry.
- Go straight across the first roundabout and continue on this road (A5).
- At the next roundabout go straight across (2nd exit) and continue on this road.
- At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted Orthopaedic Hospital. Follow the road over a small bridge and you will see the hospital on the left.
From Shrewsbury
- Follow signs for Oswestry A5
- As you approach the outskirts of Oswestry there is a roundabout with a Services (Travelodge) on the left. Take the 4th exit onto the Oswestry bypass (signposted North Wales/Llangollen and Orthopaedic Hospital). DO NOT follow directions to the Oswestry Town Centre.
- At the second roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight across) towards Wrexham.
- At the third roundabout take the 4th exit signposted Orthopaedic Hospital and follow the road over a small bridge and you will see the hospital on your left.
From Welshpool
- Follow signs for Oswestry A483 for approximately 12 miles
- At the Mile End roundabout (which has a KFC and Starbucks on left and a Petrol Station and Travel Lodge on the right of the junction) take the 2nd exit onto the Oswestry bypass (signposted North Wales, Llangollen).
- At the second roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight across) towards Wrexham
- At the third roundabout take the 4th exit signposted Orthopaedic Hospital and follow the road over a small bridge and you will see the hospital on your left.
By Bus
The nearest bus station is in the centre of Oswestry.
- The Arriva bus service number 53 stops outside the hospital as part of the Oswestry – Gobowen – Ifton – Ellesmere route. This operates Monday to Saturday.
